It sure looks it! BNSF is a primarily GE road these days. SO an ACe is quite a find!

A question please? In the UK we always seem to refer to steam locomotives as 'she's'. This critter looks very male and butch. Your thoughts please?

Generally it would be a she...but this gender reference to locomotives kinda baffles me...it's not like they are ships!

in the US we also refer to locomotives as "she's" but diesels have no gender reference.

yea, steam locomotives over here are larger and don't have as much of an attitude (depending on which one you're working on) but they are beautiful machines.

The ACe is the best looking current locomotive to me! An SD45 on steroids. The new GEs just bore me. Glad you like my pic!!!
