This is a gorgeous piece of rolling steel. And a nice composition with the photo. I like the conductor in the shot, gives it a "working" feel to it, if that makes sense. I love trains...actually I have a passion for vintage forms of travel...not an expert by any means, but I do enjoy it as a hobby. Very nicely done.
Your very welcome George, I'm pretty sure it dose help them out a lot, I hope one day I can make it out there and see all the sites and more. I want to wish a Merry Christmas as well George and A Happy New Year. may your wishes come true.
He had three tickets before turning 21 so now he can't drive and you must have a car to do anything, like go to school or see his girlfriend...I'm real on edge here. I hink if he passes a traffic class he will be re-instated?
He already has...just the damn laws screw us over. Not like he was DUI or anything...speed traps everywhere. Just like me when I started driving a lot...three tickets within a month or two...but I learned my lesson. They're just much tougher now. Ah, the good old daze of the late 80s!
I love that Art Deco style...you don't see that much anymore. Great shot!
The Empire Builder (from Chicago to Seattle) used to several…but it takes 3 locomotives (2 pulling and one pushing) to get over the Cascade Mountains and an electric engine is added on either side of the 8 mile tunnel to pull the entire train through. The line that used to be Great Northern is now Burlington Northern & Santa Fe.
