9/16/95: A pair of (now rare end-cab) MP15DCs head north on the IC toward Proviso on a transfer run from Markham.
I'm surprised at how rare end cabs are these days, I see a few of them go by my house every now and then. Usually they are EMD SW8s, or a SW1500.
Very very nice shot :]
I love the combo of the old trains and even older buildings in the background!
All those older buildings are probably torn down by now, unfortunately!
Such a shame. Whenever you go into a newer building you can really feel the cheapness of the construction. In an older building that isnt the case
You really understand this! Cool! I love old buildings...politicians don't!
Exactly, I've told you before. Except for the buildings which were historic, our entire riverfront was leveled. What could have been a very amazing commercial or residential area based in old warehouses is now covered in flimsy highrises. And politicians don't get this. Old buildings draw people in. People want those minimally altered areas. The most popular areas to visit or live in tend to be older neighborhoods.
It's all about the money, the kick-backs, the bribes and corruption. Very sad really.
Now that is road switchers! Wa-hoo!!!
I wish they were still around!
How about Bay Window cabs.. Wow!
holy cow man nice catch. and yes end cabs are getting rare to find.
your the man hey um think you can join kalza's compation
