Such a shame. Whenever you go into a newer building you can really feel the cheapness of the construction. In an older building that isnt the case

Exactly, I've told you before. Except for the buildings which were historic, our entire riverfront was leveled. What could have been a very amazing commercial or residential area based in old warehouses is now covered in flimsy highrises. And politicians don't get this. Old buildings draw people in. People want those minimally altered areas. The most popular areas to visit or live in tend to be older neighborhoods.
