Are there still different locos to see in US than Dashs and GP40s? (Except the few amtrak diesels and electrics or NJ transit Traxx)

Oh yes! I have several in my gallery...but they are becoming quite rare and are mainly yard power... CP Rail did use SD40-2s through their owned ICE/DME and lessors but they are phasing this out with an increase of GEVOs.

You'll still second/third gen power; but mostly at yard units or at smaller facilities like grain elevators or on regional road.
